| Final done with my Senior2!!!! It's good that I don't need to render out the whole thing. The only requirement is a playblast and 2 render shots....Here is my render shots from my Senior animation...I still need to fix some problems though...But then I will leave it until next quarter...I really need a rest during this Winter break!

| I've been so busy this whole quarter especially during this final week. After this quarter I have one more quarter to go then I will be out of school. Can't imagine what's gonna happen at that time. Hopefully a lot of good things will happen to me next year.
I've been doing my final animation for the past few weeks and have been doing the rendering for each shot. I am not quite satisfied with my animation and all that except my lighting and rendering parts. I guess animation is not what I want to go for in the future. I'm pretty happy when I do lighting and rendering. It just makes me feel so good when the rendered images turn out really awesome. I think I have improved my lighting skills and I found out that I actually learned a lot from the lighting class I took two quarters ago.
I've also been doing my flame shader in Renderman these few days. I found out that this project is actually due earlier than what I expected. I was kind of worried because it is actually not as easy as I thought. The whole shader was done using scripting. I'm still amazed that I can actually write a shader using scripting language. I didn't even know much about shaders (even in Hypershade) before this class. I guess I've learned quite a lot. Back to my flame shader...It finally turns out pretty decent (for a first-timer). I know it's not yet perfect and it's still required some tweak and improvement but for what I've done in 2-3 days, I'm quite satisfied with the result already.
Hopefully will have all my renders done by this Tuesday.

| I haven't come to update here for awhile...hehe...Have been lazy to update this blog...This Summer I went back to Thailand during the break...I finally did not manage to get the internship...It was ok...At least I know that the place where the company is located sucks...I think it was a better idea to go back and stay with my family and friends. I had a lot of shoppings and went to some cool places. I also had an unforgettable experience from my trip to Kao Yai in Thailand. I was almost get killed by the wild elephants...lol...It was really awesome though. I also went to Ampawa with my family and relatives. It is a very artsy and friendly place. I saw fireflies there the first time in my life even though I felt regret somehow that they do not look like what I imagined before.
My Fall quarter has begun for two weeks. I am officially a senior student and I actually have two quarters left before I graduate. Time passes really fast (this is what I always said). I feel like I didn't do much at all these pass few years. This quarter is a lot better for me because I finally can adjusted my sleep and wake-up time. I don't want to do overnight anymore. I want to be a healthier person that can utilize my time efficiently and produce better work for my portfolio. I should really start to be serious about my future career even though I still don't want to say goodbye to my college life.
One thing that is good for being an art student is that we never feel old and out-of-fashion. We are the creative minds that can do anything we want and when people blame us we could fight back by saying 'Because We are Art Student'....lol....I guess that is a very good excuse for us...But yea...we have to depend on the situation as well.
